client has seventeen Plants across India,
Germany and Korea. The plants were using
various versions of Baan and some did not
have any standard system. Additionally,
there were varying processes with no standardization
across the group. This led to huge redundancies
of processes, duplication of works and unused
capability of software resulting in very
low returns on their IT investments. PESL
conducted a consulting assignment to ascertain
the problems, risks and recommended an IT
road map.
This was followed by PESL also taking up
the implementation of the IT roadmap. Multi
Company and multi-Site implementation was
executed successfully with centralized order
booking and purchasing
